One of the reasons why I'm a big fan of Google classroom is the seamless way it allows me to integrate all of my tools, learners' submissions and progress report in one place. However, recently I discovered 'Ask a question' feature on Gclassroom and I became a bigger fan of this even easier and efficient option. "Technology will not replace great teachers but technology in the hands of great teachers can be transformational." - George Couros Khan academy is a popular teaching aid website amongst math teachers which is known to  offer practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. It offers content not just on math but a few concepts from science, computer programming, history, art history, economics are also included on the site. The website boasts the state-of-art adaptive technology which allows educators to  identify strengths and learning gap in students. The  teacher dashboard provides a summary of class performance as a whole as well as detailed student profiles. Teachers now have an easy way to share and  post videos and articles from Khan Academy onto Google Classroom . During this period of remote learning, we are experimenting with a range of technology tools that would suit our subject needs. However, there are a few core tools that we depend on more than most. These have been invaluable across the school, with a range of different ages and by teachers with varying levels of confidence when using technology. How to use Rubrics in Google Classroom

  It’s that time of the year when teachers across schools are slaving over formulating assessments, grading students, giving feedback, writing reports. The task can become quite overwhelming. To ease your anxiety a little bit  Google  has rolled out a new feature on  Google   classroom . Let me give you a sneak peek into this Beta feature (which fortunately is available to us on the GSuite package). You can now create and attach a  rubric  to an assignment as a guideline  for  students to refer back to when understanding their grades. When starting/posting an assignment,  rubrics  can be created and made available to students. These guidelines can be reused, as well as exported and imported. The  rubric  will then appear  for  the teacher during the grading process.
